水引 (mizuhiki) は、贈り物や金封（ご祝儀袋や香典袋）を飾るために使われ、祝い事だけでなく弔事にも用いられ、古の世から人の慶びと悲しみに寄り添ってきました。
色や結び方によって異なる意味が込められています。

このアクセサリーは、水引を結ぶのではなく、しめ縄のように捻って輪を作っています。
継ぎ目がわからない繊細なつくりは職人の手仕事ならでは。終わりのないループは無限を表現しています。

CHINOWA（茅の輪）とは、日本の神道における伝統的な儀式や祭りで使用される円形の茅（かや）で作られた輪のことです。この輪をくぐることで、穢れ（けがれ）を祓い、健康や幸運を祈るとされています。

この水引アクセサリーは、健康や幸運が無限に続くことを願って、
茅の輪をイメージしてデザインしました。
お守り、開運アクセサリーとして身に着けるのもおすすめです。

水引は、和紙で作られているため、とても軽く、着けていないような着け心地です。
職人が一つ一つ手仕事で作り上げるため、同じものは2つとありません。

オーバル（楕円）の形はフープ・イヤリングとしても珍しく、
メビウスの輪のように捻った形状も相まって、ユニークな一品となっています。

Mizuhiki is used to decorate gifts and envelopes for money (such as congratulatory or condolence envelopes). It has been accompanying people's joys and sorrows since ancient times, used not only for celebrations but also for condolences. Different meanings are imbued with different colors and ways of tying.

This accessory does not tie mizuhiki, but rather twists it like a shimenawa (sacred straw rope) into a loop. The seamless and delicate craftsmanship is unique to artisans' handiwork. The endless loop represents infinity.

CHINOWA (茅の輪) is a ring made of kaya (cogon grass) used in traditional Shinto rituals and festivals in Japan. It is believed that passing through this ring, impurities are exorcised and prayers are made for health and good fortune.

This mizuhiki accessory is designed with the image of a Chinowa, wishing for infinite health and good fortune. We also recommend wearing it as an amulet or a good luck charm.

Since mizuhiki is made from washi (Japanese paper), it is very light and feels as if you are not wearing anything. As each piece is handcrafted by artisans, no two are exactly the same.

The oval shape is rare for hoop earrings, and combined with the twisted shape like a Möbius strip, it makes for a unique item.
Enjoy coordinating it with various styles as a simple gold hoop earring.


You can enjoy them as both earrings and necklace tops. (Chain necklace is not included.The third photo is a reference photo of the necklace top with an ear cuff. The ear cuff is not included.)
