オリジナル西陣織生地”YAKAI”デビュー！
第一作は、ジェンダーレスにお使いいただけるクールな帽子。

黒の上品な光沢感と凛とした佇まいは、まさに唯一無二。
世界中でここでしか手に入らないスタイリッシュな帽子です。
程よい巾のブリム（つば）とスクエアなクラウンがオシャレ度を格上げ、
被っているだけでオシャレに見えます。

シンプルながら、絶妙なバランス感のフォルムは、
どんなスタイルにも合わせやすく、気軽に被っていただけます。

エレガントな装いにはもちろん、
デニムなどカジュアルなコーデにも合わせやすいです。

サイズも嬉しい3サイズをご用意しました。
それぞれのサイズに２cmのアジャスターが付いているので、
どんな方にも、ぴったりと被っていただけると思います。


帽子に使用している生地は、織りから企画したオリジナルの西陣織です。
濡れたような幻想的な光沢を放つその質感は、
まるで、月の光を受けて煌めく夜の海のようです。
そのイメージからYAKAI（夜海）と名づけました。

YAKAI は「夜会」でもあり、素敵な夜会服が作れそうな、このゴージャスな生地にふさわしい名前だと思いませんか？
今後は服地として、ジャケットやドレス等にも使いたいとイメージは膨らんでいます。

西陣織は先染めの織物です。　
”御蚕さん”の繭から生糸が生成され　糸染め（先染め）します。
今回は黒の色にこだわり、濃い黒に染め上げ、経糸と緯糸のバランスも考えながら、
また、デザイナー（KYRA）の黒の生地と黒金糸の組み合わせのバランスにもこだわりがあり、何度も試作を繰り返し、完成しました。
まさに、デザイナーと西陣織織元のコラボレーションで生まれた生地と言えます。

■お取り扱いについて：
・絹糸は水に弱いので、湿気等あった場合は陰干ししてください。
・洗濯はドライクリーニングでお願いします。
・白く汚れた場合は乾いた黒の生地で軽くこすって下さい。

日本国内で、熟練の西陣織職人により丁寧に織られた生地を使用し、製作されています。

1923年に西陣で創業、3代続く織元です。
西陣織は分業制になっており、全ての工程のプロがいます。
糸を仕入れ、染め、整経する。
どの織機で織るかを選択し、図案を考え、紋を作り、そして織ります。
弊社はその工程に指示を出し注文する事により、オリジナル商品を製作しています。
絹の糸にも沢山の種類があり、太さはもちろん、セリシンをどの程度残すかで風合いが全く変わります。その糸にこだわり、ものづくりに取り組んでいます。

註）セリシンとは、蚕が繭を作る際に吐き出す繭糸を構成するタンパク質の一種。セリシンが多いほど張りのある強い絹糸に、少ないほど柔らかく光沢のある絹糸（強度は弱くなる）になります。


■納期について
今回の予約期間にいただいたオーダーは、1/27頃に発送予定です。

尚、予約期間終了後も、順次ご予約を受け付けます。

■配送
国内発送はヤマト運輸宅急便
にてお送りさせていただきます。
海外発送は「EMS」にて
お送りさせていただきます。

梱包について：
クラウン部分に型崩れ防止の厚紙のカバーをかけ、
不織布の袋に入れ、薄紙で包み、ビニール袋に入れて、
段ボール箱に入れて発送します。

丸い帽子箱に入れての発送をご希望の方は「帽子箱入り」タイプをお選びください。
帽子箱は別途料金（2,300円税込）となります。


■海外発送に伴う関税について
ご注文商品がお手元に届く際に、目的地の国によっては関税や税金が発生する可能性があります。これらの追加料金は当店の管理外であり、税関当局によって決定されます。関税などの通関手続きに伴う追加料金は、受取人様のご負担となりますことをご了承ください。

Debut of our original Nishijin-ori fabric "YAKAI"!
The first product is a cool hat that can be used gender-neutral.

The elegant luster of the black and the dignified appearance are truly one of a kind.
This stylish hat is available only here in the world.
The moderately wide brim and square crown enhance the fashionability,
and just wearing it makes you look fashionable.

The simple yet exquisitely balanced form
goes well with any style and can be worn casually.

It goes well with elegant outfits,
and also with casual outfits such as denim.

We have three sizes available.
Each size has a 2cm adjuster,
so anyone can wear it perfectly.

The fabric used for the hat is an original Nishijin-ori fabric designed from the weaving process.
Its fantastical, wet-like luster is reminiscent of the sea shimmering under the moonlight
We named it YAKAI (”夜海” means night sea in Japanese) from that image.

YAKAI is written as “夜会” in Japanese, it means "evening party," so don't you think it's a fitting name for this gorgeous fabric that seems perfect for creating stunning evening wear?
Our vision extends to using it for jackets and dresses and other clothing in the future.

Nishijin-ori is a yarn-dyed fabric.
Raw silk is produced from the cocoons of the "silkworms" and then yarn-dyed before weaving.
For this project, we were particular about the color black, dyeing it a deep black while also considering the balance of the warp and weft threads.
We also paid close attention to the balance of the designer KYRA’s combination of the black fabric and black shiny thread, and after repeated trial and error, we finally completed the fabric.
You could say that this fabric was truly born from a collaboration between a designer and Nishijin weavers.

・Silk threads are weak against water, so please dry in the shade if it becomes damp.
・Please dry clean when washing.
・If it becomes stained white and dirty, rub it lightly with dry black fabric.

The fabric is carefully woven by skilled Nishijin weavers in Japan
This product is available for pre-order only, where we will only produce the quantity ordered (reserved), and each piece will be delivered with a serial number.

Founded in Nishijin in 1923, this weaving company has been in business for three generations.
Nishijin weaving is a division of labor, with professionals in every process.
Purchase, dye, and warp the thread.
Select the loom to weave on, think up a design, create t patterns, and then weave.
Our company issues instructions for each process and places an order to create original products.
There are many types of silk thread, and the texture changes completely depending on the thickness, as well as how much sericin is left. We are particular about that thread and are committed to manufacturing.

Note: Sericin is a type of protein that makes up the cocoon threads spun by silkworms. More sericin results in stiffer, stronger silk threads, while less sericin creates softer, shinier silk threads (but with less strength).

■Delivery date
Orders placed during this reservation period will be shipped around January 27th.
We will continue to accept reservations after this reservation period ends.

■Shipping
Domestic shipments will be sent by Yamato Transport Takkyubin.
International shipments will be sent by "EMS".

Packaging:
The crown will be covered with a cardboard cover to prevent deformation,
placed in a non-woven bag, wrapped in tissue paper, placed in a plastic bag,
and shipped in a cardboard box.

If you would like your hat shipped in a round hat box, please select the "hat box included" type.
The hat box will be charged separately (2,300 yen including tax).

■Customs duties associated with overseas shipments
When your order arrives, you may be subject to customs duties and taxes depending on the country of destination. These additional fees are outside of our control and are determined by the customs authorities.
